MOTHER EARTH HITS
BACK!
Dear Reader,
I think that it is time for a
very serious reflection about how we, as humans, are treating our home called
EARTH. This is a malpractice that has been going on for thousands of years. A
slow but consistent abuse of the resources of this globe that historically were
considered unlimited. We are coming to a time where the planet Earth is taking
the road of ‘self-extinction’ due to the human disregard to care for it. We now
call this phenomenon “climate change” as if the planet climate alone is the
cause of so many critical events. I choose to call it “Gaia revenge” (more
about this later).
My mentor Michael Meade spent
most of his career as a mythologist and storyteller. His podcasts are amazing
with abundant prophecies about what is now appearing as a global and human
crisis. Listen to his podcast here:
So now we are entering the new
year 2020 – a year that in the Chinese culture is called: “The Year of the
Rat”. This is a strong urge for us to reflect about the meaning of this symbol:
In Chinese culture, rats are
used to symbolise wealth and surplus. Traditionally married couples would pray
to these rodents hoping some of their reproductive success would rub off on
them. Rats are found all over the world and regarded in the Chinese zodiac as
being smart and nimble with plenty of vitality and enterprising spirit. (google)
The Chinese Zodiac states good
fortune as the rat is smart and able to outwit many challenges to survive.
However, we may ask: why is the rat so feared and hated in many cultures? The
‘shadow’ aspect of the rat is well known as a fast multiplier (up to 5000
babies a year). This alone is an interesting evidence that China is so
populated that once the government issued a “one baby per family policy” and it
is an example of the spread of current CORONA VIRUS that is multiplying faster
that a rat now. The virus started (according to the health authorities in
Wuhan, a city of 11 million of people). And in a few weeks over 150 people died
and about 7,000 infected and raising. Nearly 60 million Chinese are in ‘lock
down’ and other cities in Europe, Canada and Australia have been infected as I
write this. The WHO organization just declared an international public health
emergency.
This news (ongoing) is only a
small portion of the many huge global disastrous events. EARTH MOTHER IS ANGRY!
The Goddess myth that most modern folk do not acknowledge. We damage the Mother Earth
and all that is Nature. We are all damaging motherhood; she is the creator of
birth and death. This is a powerful idea. The Indians call her DEVI
Mother Devi has come giving her wrath
to all – some include:
1. Australia on fire – millions of animals burned
2. Floods in Spain devastating whole villages
3. Snowstorms in North America closing all traffic land and air
4. Earthquakes and Volcanoes emerging from the sea and land
5. In Africa come huge swarms of locusts that are bigger than ever
The whole continent of Africa is seething with poverty and disease created mainly by the corrupt leaders who are worse than the locusts swarming the continent. Here are some of the ‘invisible’ stories that most media are ignoring:
a. HAITI 22% of children are malnourished every day
b. ETHIOPIA 84% of people live from agriculture, but heavy droughts keeps killing the land
c. MADAGASCAR is now described as the “frontier of climate change” experience cyclones and drought and a decimation of people with bubonic illnesses
d. DRC – Republic of CONGO is experiencing 20 years of violence and terrorism and Ebola virus
e. PHILIPPINES 3.8 million of people suffered incalculable damages from typhoons and tropical cyclones
f. A major earthquake just exploded (7.7 scale) between Cuba and Jamaica
And so, on and
on. More information is available on the real news media about BURKINA FASO,
LAKE CHAD BASIN, KENYA, ERITREA, BURUNDI, ZAMBIA and more. Many media have
given up reporting as the issues are not resolved.
Some so called
‘climate change’ sceptics (most in politics and business), tend to ignore 20
years of scientific research, state that these events are natural disasters
that have been with us for centuries. Climate disturbance as we experience now,
speak for themselves: WE ARE LIVING THE CONSEQUENCES of human greed, abuse of
the environment, excesses of exploitation of natural resources and killing our
water, air and land. Mother Nature or Devi or Gaia is returning with great
force and giving us some opportunity for reflection and ACTION!
WHAT NOW?
Michael Meade
talks about HUMAN VITALITY. We need to speak with a living voice and vitality.
This is already happening with our youth (Greta) and many others that are
linking together with a global answer and ways to repair what we have been killing
for centuries. This link is an invisible thread that brings the LIVING VOICE to
the world. William Stafford a great US poet stated in his poem:
There’s a thread you follow.
It goes among
things that change. But it
doesn’t change.
People wonder about what you
are pursuing.
You have to explain about the
thread.
But it is hard for others to
see.
While you hold it, you can’t
get lost.
Tragedies happen; people get
hurt
or die; and you suffer and get
old.
Nothing you do can stop time’s
unfolding.
You don’t ever let go of the
thread.
